Over the past 25 years I have had the good fortune to work with several of the world’s largest retailers and also many small, regional players across the US and Europe – as well as dozens of consumer goods manufacturers. I’ve managed successful brand teams, led divisions of the world’s most successful Loyalty Consultancy, and led business teams in a technology startup. Across these businesses, I’ve had the opportunity to work with terrific internal and client teams as they’ve brought their solutions to market, and in the process built our business.
In earlier roles, I held leadership positions at dunnhumbyUSA and DemandTec, as well as management consulting firms Arthur Andersen Consulting, A.T. Kearney, and Kurt Salmon Associates.
Over the past decade, I have been particularly focused on bringing new tools and analytic capabilities to retailers and CPGs around the world. Customer Loyalty Marketing and Predictive Analytics have created tremendous value for our clients.
As I look forward to the next decade, one of the most exciting trends I see is the “Democratization” of Analytics.
What used to be the exclusive domain of the very large retail community has rapidly been democratized and simplified to be available to all levels of retailers and consumer companies – in simple solutions or apps.
It’s truly exciting to be able to bring big company tools, analytics, and insights to mid-size competitors. It’s an exciting time to be in this industry!
